There are numerous coat of arms for the GOMM Family, depending on which branch you descend from. Our Family has always believed that our coat of arms included the Lion and a pair of Saxon swords, with black and silver colouring. After searching through the various shields we found one that matched our information.
There is no offical motto recorded for our branch of the GOMM Family. So we thought long and hard over whats the most important to us. Finally we came up with Pondus Familae Ante Alter - roughly translates as Family First / Family before all others.
